President Trump signs law allowing for barbaric killing of wildlife in Alaska.

President Trump signs law allowing for barbaric killing of wildlife in Alaska. His sons can now hunt closer to home.

Last week, President Trump joined our own AZ Senators – Flake (the co-sponsor) and McCain in voting for the passing of SJR18, which will mean Hell on earth for Alaska’s wildlife living on National Wildlife Refuges. SJR18 allows hunters to mercilessly kill bears & their cubs while hibernating, cowardly gun down animals from aircraft and lazily bait medieval steel traps with donuts, leading to gruesome deaths.

This action is the latest use of the Congressional Review Act by the new Administration and the GOP, to further dismantle legislative progress made by the Obama Administration, and seemingly pander to special interests such as the NRA and Arizona’s own, The Safari Club.

I assume we should be assured that our President, and essentially 100% of the Republican House & Senate members, felt that voting to murder more animals, and possibly pandering to special interests is a priority in “making America great again” and more important than health care and jobs.

On the bright side, at least now the baby Trumps (big game hunters themselves) won’t have to travel as far to gun down trophies for the Trump Hotels.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. So much is happening so fast on this planet that it’s hard to stay abreast of the things that remain near and dear to our heart. Activists like you, are so needed at this time!

It’s disheartening to learn that Flake co-sponsored this bill. No surprise regarding the Trump boy’s disregard for life. McCain–sure no surprise there as well.
